EDITION 1 — LESSThe enbrand magazine
A journal for considered brands, designers and creative minds.
enbrand magazine is launching this year. An online publication created to explore the world around branding, creativity, business, design, sport, hospitality, lifestyle, culture and the strange little details that make things interesting.
Because brands don’t exist in a vacuum.
They are shaped by taste, behaviour, ambition, culture, language, people, places, habits, shifts, scenes and the occasional brilliant idea that starts as a scribble on a napkin and not an AI prompt.
This magazine is being built as a place for sharp thinking, fresh perspectives and genuinely useful creative conversations. Less magnolia industry waffle. More insight, opinion, inspiration, energy and no pictures of cats.
What the magazine will cover?
enbrand magazine will explore the ideas, shifts and conversations shaping brand design and the creative industry now.
It will look at how brands are built, how design culture is changing, how creative businesses are evolving, and what it means to make work with clarity, relevance and point of view.
Brand strategy & positioning
How brands find their place, define what they stand for, sharpen their message and build meaning beyond the logo.
Identity & design systems
The craft of visual identity, from logos, typography and colour to flexible systems, brand worlds and the details that make design feel distinctive.
Creative direction & campaigns
Ideas, launches, campaigns and visual storytelling — looking at how brands show up with confidence, consistency and creative energy.
Design culture & visual trends
A considered look at what is happening across design, branding, typography, editorial, digital, packaging and visual communication — without blindly chasing trends for the sake of it.
The business of creativity
How studios, freelancers, founders and creative teams work, grow, price, pitch, collaborate and stay relevant in a fast-changing industry.
Founders, studios & independents
Stories and interviews with the people building brands, studios, products, platforms and creative businesses with purpose and personality.
Opinion & perspective
Sharp takes on the creative industry, the good, the overdone, the misunderstood and the things nobody says out loud because they are trying to behave on LinkedIn.
Tools, process & practical thinking
Useful insight for designers, founders and brand owners — from naming and positioning to creative process, design critique, websites, launches and brand consistency.
The future of brand design
How technology, culture, AI, community, taste and changing consumer behaviour are influencing what brands need to become next.
Call for contributors
We’re looking for writers, creatives, founders, strategists, designers, photographers, editors, tastemakers, thinkers and interesting humans with something to say.
You don’t need to be famous. You don’t need to write like you swallowed a branding textbook. In fact, just please don’t. We’re looking for original ideas, strong opinions, useful stories and some fresh industry perspectives.
You might want to contribute:
— An opinion piece
— A founder story
— A design or culture essay
— An interview
— A visual feature
— A trend piece
— A case study
— A personal reflection, industry insight
— A practical guide
— A recommendation list
— Or something we haven’t thought of yet, which is usually where the good stuff lives.
If your work or perspective sits somewhere between creativity, culture, design or brand, we’d love to hear from you.
